Take his name in vain

  1.   7 Thou shalt not take the aname of the Lord thy God in bvain; for the Lord will not hold him cguiltless that dtaketh his name in vain.
  2.   11 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
  3.   20 For they aspeak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in bvain.
  4.   15 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him aguiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Hold guiltless

  1.   7 Thou shalt not take the aname of the Lord thy God in bvain; for the Lord will not hold him cguiltless that dtaketh his name in vain.
  2.   11 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
  3.   15 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him aguiltless that taketh his name in vain.
  4.   16 And it shall come to pass, that whoso arepenteth and is baptized in my bname shall be filled; and if he cendureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world.
  5.   30 Who am I that amade man, saith the Lord, that will hold him bguiltless that obeys not my commandments?

"Them that love me"

  1.   6 And shewing amercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my bcommandments.
  2.   10 And shewing amercy unto thousands of them that blove me and keep my commandments.
  3.   17 I alove them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
  4.   14 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Thousands of them

  1.   6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
  2.   10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
  3.   45 And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon: and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men; and pursued hard after them unto Gidom, and slew two thousand men of them.
  4.   18 And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens, and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred overseers to set the people a work.
  5.   13 ¶ But the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Beth-horon, and smote three thousand of them, and took much spoil.
  6.   14 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
  7.   4 Behold, thousands of them do rejoice, and have been brought into the fold of God.
  8.   10 And who knoweth but what they will be the means of bringing many thousands of them, yea, and also many thousands of our stiffnecked brethren, the Nephites, who are now hardening their hearts in sin and iniquities, to the knowledge of their Redeemer?
  9.   14 For behold, they would break out in great numbers, and would fight with stones, and with clubs, or whatsoever thing they could get into their hands, insomuch that we did slay upwards of two thousand of them after they had surrendered themselves prisoners of war.
  10.   8 Yea, even they who have looked up to you for protection, yea, have placed you in a situation that ye might have succored them, yea, ye might have sent armies unto them, to have strengthened them, and have saved thousands of them from falling by the sword.
  11.   15 And it came to pass that my sorrow did return unto me again, and I saw that the day of grace was passed with them, both temporally and spiritually; for I saw thousands of them hewn down in open rebellion against their God, and heaped up as dung upon the face of the land. And thus three hundred and forty and four years had passed away.
  12.   61 The excitement, however, still continued, and rumor with her thousand tongues was all the time employed in circulating falsehoods about my father’s family, and about myself. If I were to relate a thousandth part of them, it would fill up volumes. The persecution, however, became so intolerable that I was under the necessity of leaving Manchester, and going with my wife to Susquehanna county, in the State of Pennsylvania. While preparing to start—being very poor, and the persecution so heavy upon us that there was no probability that we would ever be otherwise—in the midst of our afflictions we found a friend in a gentleman by the name of Martin Harris, who came to us and gave me fifty dollars to assist us on our journey. Mr. Harris was a resident of Palmyra township, Wayne county, in the State of New York, and a farmer of respectability.

Show mercy

  1.   19 And he said, I will make all my agoodness pass before thee, and I will bproclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew cmercy on whom I will shew mercy.
  2.   2 Verily, verily I say unto you, blessed are such, for they shall obtain; for I, the Lord, show mercy unto all the ameek, and upon all whomsoever I will, that I may be bjustified when I shall bring them unto judgment.
          •  •  •
      6 And to the residue of the school, I, the Lord, am willing to show mercy; nevertheless, there are those that must needs be achastened, and their works shall be made known.
  3.   21 ¶ But the aLord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
  4.   6 And shewing amercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my bcommandments.
  5.   10 And shewing amercy unto thousands of them that blove me and keep my commandments.
  6.   2 And when the Lord thy God shall deliver them before thee; thou shalt smite them, and utterly adestroy them; thou shalt bmake no ccovenant with them, nor shew mercy unto them:
  7.   17 And athere shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the Lord may turn from the fierceness of his banger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers;
  8.   24 And the spies saw a man come forth out of the city, and they said unto him, Shew us, we pray thee, the entrance into the city, and we will shew thee mercy.
  9.   51 He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
  10.   8 And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.
  11.   14 And said, O aLord God of Israel, there is no God like thee in the heaven, nor in the earth; which keepest covenant, and shewest mercy unto thy servants, that bwalk before thee with all their hearts:
  12.   50 Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his aanointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
  13.   21 The wicked aborroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
  14.   16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the apoor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
  15.   42 They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are acruel, and will not shew mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against thee, O daughter of Babylon.
  16.   27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing amercy to the poor; bif it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity.
  17.   9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true ajudgment, and shew bmercy and ccompassions every man to his brother:
  18.   58 And her neighbours and her acousins heard how the Lord had shewed great bmercy upon her; and they rejoiced with her.
  19.   37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.
  20.   16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth amercy.
  21.   8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with acheerfulness.
  22.   13 For he shall have ajudgment without bmercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
  23.   14 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.
  24.   1 aThanks be to thy name, O Lord God of Israel, who keepest bcovenant and showest mercy unto thy servants who walk uprightly before thee, with all their hearts—

Unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me

  1.   5 Thou shalt not abow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a bjealous God, cvisiting the diniquity of the efathers upon the fchildren unto the third and fourth generation of them that ghate me;
  2.   9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting athe iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth bgeneration of them that chate me,
  3.   46 And upon his children, and upon his children’s achildren of all them that bhate me, unto the cthird and fourth generation.
  4.   26 And my presence shall be with you even in aavenging me of mine enemies, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.
  5.   30 And after these lands are purchased, I will hold the aarmies of Israel guiltless in taking possession of their own lands, which they have previously purchased with their moneys, and of throwing down the towers of mine enemies that may be upon them, and scattering their watchmen, and bavenging me of mine enemies unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.

"Them that hate me"

  1.   5 Thou shalt not abow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a bjealous God, cvisiting the diniquity of the efathers upon the fchildren unto the third and fourth generation of them that ghate me;
  2.   9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting athe iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth bgeneration of them that chate me,
  3.   41 If I whet my glittering asword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.
  4.   41 Thou hast also given me the anecks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
  5.   13 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:
  6.   40 Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
  7.   14 Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
  8.   7 The aLord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my bdesire upon them that hate me.
  9.   13 And again: Thou shalt not abow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquities of the fathers upon the children, unto the third and fourth generations of them that hate me;
  10.   46 And upon his children, and upon his children’s achildren of all them that bhate me, unto the cthird and fourth generation.
  11.   26 And my presence shall be with you even in aavenging me of mine enemies, unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.
  12.   30 And after these lands are purchased, I will hold the aarmies of Israel guiltless in taking possession of their own lands, which they have previously purchased with their moneys, and of throwing down the towers of mine enemies that may be upon them, and scattering their watchmen, and bavenging me of mine enemies unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.
