"You know"

  1. 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
  2. 36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it.
  3. 1 And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
  4. 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
  5. 12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
  6. 25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
    • • •
    27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
  7. 18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
  8. 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
  9. 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
  10. 4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
  11. 4 For I know that ye have searched much, many of you, to know of things to come; wherefore I know that ye know that our flesh must waste away and die; nevertheless, in our bodies we shall see God.
  12. 18 But behold, I say unto you that if ye persist in your wickedness that your days shall not be prolonged in the land, for the Lamanites shall be sent upon you; and if ye repent not they shall come in a time when you know not, and ye shall be visited with utter destruction; and it shall be according to the fierce anger of the Lord.
  13. 39 Now Alma said unto him: Will ye deny again that there is a God, and also deny the Christ? For behold, I say unto you, I know there is a God, and also that Christ shall come.
  14. 34 And now, behold, is your knowledge perfect? Yea, your knowledge is perfect in that thing, and your faith is dormant; and this because you know, for ye know that the word hath swelled your souls, and ye also know that it hath sprouted up, that your understanding doth begin to be enlightened, and your mind doth begin to expand.
  15. 22 Verily, verily, I say unto you, if you desire a further witness, cast your mind upon the night that you cried unto me in your heart, that you might know concerning the truth of these things.
  16. 11 Ask that you may know the mysteries of God, and that you may translate and receive knowledge from all those ancient records which have been hid up, that are sacred; and according to your faith shall it be done unto you.
  17. 14 And then shall ye know, or by this shall you know, all things whatsoever you desire of me, which are pertaining unto things of righteousness, in faith believing in me that you shall receive.
    • • •
    16 Wait a little longer, until you shall have my word, my rock, my church, and my gospel, that you may know of a surety my doctrine.
  18. 2 Behold, I have manifested unto you, by my Spirit in many instances, that the things which you have written are true; wherefore you know that they are true.
    3 And if you know that they are true, behold, I give unto you a commandment, that you rely upon the things which are written;
    • • •
    38 And by their desires and their works you shall know them.
  19. 8 Wherefore, I will explain unto you this mystery, for it is meet unto you to know even as mine apostles.
    • • •
    15 Therefore I command you to repent—repent, lest I smite you by the rod of my mouth, and by my wrath, and by my anger, and your sufferings be sore—how sore you know not, how exquisite you know not, yea, how hard to bear you know not.
  20. 6 And this I give unto you that you may not be deceived, that you may know they are not of me.
  21. 60 And now, behold, I say unto you, it shall not be given unto you to know any further concerning this chapter, until the New Testament be translated, and in it all these things shall be made known;
  22. 25 And again, verily I say unto you, and I say it that you may know the truth, that you may chase darkness from among you;
    • • •
    31 Wherefore, it shall come to pass, that if you behold a spirit manifested that you cannot understand, and you receive not that spirit, ye shall ask of the Father in the name of Jesus; and if he give not unto you that spirit, then you may know that it is not of God.
  23. 5 Your eyes have been upon my servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and his language you have known, and his imperfections you have known; and you have sought in your hearts knowledge that you might express beyond his language; this you also know.
  24. 23 And again, thus saith the Lord unto you, O ye elders of my church, who have given your names that you might know his will concerning you
  25. 50 And by this you may know they are under the bondage of sin, because they come not unto me.
    • • •
    53 And by this you may know the righteous from the wicked, and that the whole world groaneth under sin and darkness even now.
    • • •
    91 And he that doeth not these things is not my disciple; by this you may know my disciples.
  26. 43 And now, I will show unto you a parable, that you may know my will concerning the redemption of Zion.
  27. 1 Verily I say unto you, my friends, behold, I will give unto you a revelation and commandment, that you may know how to act in the discharge of your duties concerning the salvation and redemption of your brethren, who have been scattered on the land of Zion;
  28. 16 You know, brethren, that a very large ship is benefited very much by a very small helm in the time of a storm, by being kept workways with the wind and the waves.
  29. 9 These are three grand keys whereby you may know whether any administration is from God.
  30. 38 Now learn a parable of the fig-tree—When its branches are yet tender, and it begins to put forth leaves, you know that summer is nigh at hand;
    • • •
    46 And what I say unto one, I say unto all men; watch, therefore, for you know not at what hour your Lord doth come.
