He hath a devil

  1. 20 And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?
21 Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
  2. 18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
  3. 33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil.
  4. 49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
  5. 9 And lo, he cometh unto his own, that salvation might come unto the children of men even through faith on his name; and even after all this they shall consider him a man, and say that he hath a devil, and shall scourge him, and shall crucify him.
  6. 6 But the more part of them did not believe in the words of Samuel; therefore when they saw that they could not hit him with their stones and their arrows, they cried unto their captains, saying: Take this fellow and bind him, for behold he hath a devil; and because of the power of the devil which is in him we cannot hit him with our stones and our arrows; therefore take him and bind him, and away with him.
