Father in heaven

  1. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
    • • •
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
    • • •
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
  2. 1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
    • • •
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
  3. 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
    • • •
21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
  4. 32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
  5. 50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
  6. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
  7. 10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
    • • •
14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.
    • • •
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
  8. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
  9. 25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
  10. 2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
  11. 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
  12. 22 Now, this thing was pleasing unto me, Jacob, for I had requested it of my Father who was in heaven; for he had heard my cry and answered my prayer.
  13. 16 Therefore let your light so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
    • • •
45 That ye may be the children of your Father who is in heaven; for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good.
    • • •
48 Therefore I would that ye should be perfect even as I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect.
  14. 1 Verily, verily, I say that I would that ye should do alms unto the poor; but take heed that ye do not your alms before men to be seen of them; otherwise ye have no reward of your Father who is in heaven.
    • • •
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
  15. 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
    • • •
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.
  16. 4 For a permanent and everlasting establishment and order unto my church, to advance the cause, which ye have espoused, to the salvation of man, and to the glory of your Father who is in heaven;
  17. 83 For your Father, who is in heaven, knoweth that you have need of all these things.
    • • •
92 He that receiveth you not, go away from him alone by yourselves, and cleanse your feet even with water, pure water, whether in heat or in cold, and bear testimony of it unto your Father which is in heaven, and return not again unto that man.
