Now when they had heard

  1.   12 ¶ Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
  2.   2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,
  3.   14 And now, when I, Nephi, had heard these words, I remembered the words of the Lord which he spake unto me in the wilderness, saying that: Inasmuch as thy seed shall keep my commandments, they shall prosper in the land of promise.
  4.   27 Now when king Noah had heard of the words which Abinadi had spoken unto the people, he was also wroth; and he said: Who is Abinadi, that I and my people should be judged of him, or who is the Lord, that shall bring upon my people such great affliction?
  5.   1 And now when the king had heard these words, he said unto his priests: Away with this fellow, and slay him; for what have we to do with him, for he is mad.
  6.   11 And now when the people had heard these words, they clapped their hands for joy, and exclaimed: This is the desire of our hearts.
  7.   17 Now when Gideon had heard these things, he being the king’s captain, he went forth and said unto the king: I pray thee forbear, and do not search this people, and lay not this thing to their charge.
  8.   18 Now when the king had heard these words, he marveled again, for he beheld that Ammon could discern his thoughts; but notwithstanding this, king Lamoni did open his mouth, and said unto him: Who art thou? Art thou that Great Spirit, who knows all things?
  9.   6 Now when Lamoni had heard this he caused that his servants should make ready his horses and his chariots.

      16 Now when his father had heard these words, he was angry with him, and he drew his sword that he might smite him to the earth.
