And now, when I, Nephi, hadheard these words, I remembered the words
of the Lord which he spake unto me in the wilderness, saying that:
Inasmuch as thy seed shall keep my commandments, they shall prosper in
the land of promise.

Nowwhen king Noah hadheard of the words which Abinadi had
spoken unto the people, he was also wroth; and he said: Who is Abinadi,
that I and my people should be judged of him, or who is the Lord, that
shall bring upon my people such great affliction?

he marveled again, for he beheld that Ammon could discern his thoughts;
