17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the aaffliction of bEgypt unto the land of the cCanaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the dJebusites, unto a eland flowing with milk and honey.
-
26 I said, I would ascatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:
-
• • •3 Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a asnare unto you.
-
24 And the cook took up the ashoulder, and that which was upon it, and set it before Saul. And Samuel said, Behold that which is left! set it before thee, and eat: for unto this time hath it been kept for thee since I said, I have invited the people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day.
-
5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will aconfess my btransgressions unto the Lord; and thou cforgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
-
57 Thou art my aportion, O Lord: I have said that I would keep thy words.
-
11 ¶ Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what aseest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.• • •
-
8 But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my afury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.• • •13 But the house of Israel arebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they bdespised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the cwilderness, to consume them.• • •21 Notwithstanding the children arebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
-
4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy atemple.
-
2 And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a acandlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof:
-
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath asanctified, and bsent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the cSon of God?
-
3 And I said: I desire to behold the things which my father asaw.
-
2 And the angel said unto me: What beholdest thou? And I said: I behold many anations and kingdoms.
-
4 Then I said, I have labored in avain, I have spent my strength for naught and in vain; surely my judgment is with the Lord, and my work with my God.
-
11 And I would that ye should remember also, that this is the aname that I said I should give unto you that never should be blotted out, except it be through transgression; therefore, take heed that ye do not transgress, that the name be not blotted out of your hearts.
-
5 Nevertheless, after all this, I never have known much of the ways of the Lord, and his amysteries and marvelous power. I said I never had known much of these things; but behold, I mistake, for I have seen much of his mysteries and his marvelous power; yea, even in the preservation of the lives of this people.
-
22 And now, verily I say unto you, that as I said that I would make known my will unto you, behold I will make it known unto you, anot by the way of commandment, for there are many who observe not to keep my commandments.
