Fire consumes

1. Ex. 3: 2
     2 And the ^aangel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of ^bfire out of the midst of a ^cbush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
2. Ex. 22: 6
     6 ¶ If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of ^acorn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that ^bkindled the fire shall surely make restitution.
3. Lev. 6: 10
     10 And the priest shall put on his linen ^agarment, and his linen ^bbreeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
4. Lev. 9: 24
     24 And there came a ^afire out from before the Lord, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

Behold, and remember, the Holy One hath spoken it.
35. Alma 14: 9-10, 14
      9 And it came to pass that they took Alma and Amulek, and carried them forth to the place of ^amartyrdom, that they might witness the destruction of those who were consumed by fire.
      10 And when Amulek saw the pains of the women and children who were consuming in the fire, he also was pained; and he said unto Alma: How can we witness this awful scene? Therefore let us stretch forth our hands, and exercise the ^apower of God which is in us, and save them from the flames.
