In the valley

  1.   17 ¶ And Isaac departed thence, and pitched his tent in the valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.
          •  •  •
19 And Isaac’s servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water.
  2.   25 (Now the aAmalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) To morrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
  3.   12 ¶ From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.
          •  •  •
20 And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which alooketh toward Jeshimon.
  4.   29 So we abode in the valley over against Beth-peor.
  5.   46 On this side Jordan, in the valley over against Beth-peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of Egypt:
  6.   4 And the elders of that city shall bring down the heifer unto a rough valley, which is neither aeared nor sown, and shall bstrike off the heifer’s neck there in the valley:
          •  •  •
6 And all the elders of that city, that are next unto the slain man, shall wash their hands over the heifer athat is beheaded in the valley:
  7.   6 And he aburied him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knoweth bof his csepulchre unto this day.
  8.   12 ¶ Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, aSun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
  9.   2 And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of aDor on the west,
          •  •  •
17 Even from the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir, even unto Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon under mount Hermon: and all their kings he took, and smote them, and slew them.
  10.   7 ¶ And these are the akings of the country which bJoshua and the children of Israel smote on this side Jordan on the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon even unto the mount Halak, that goeth up to Seir; which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions;
  11.   27 And in the valley, Beth-aram, and Beth-nimrah, and aSuccoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, Jordan and his border, even unto the edge of the sea of Chinnereth on the other side Jordan eastward.
  12.   33 And in the valley, Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,
  13.   16 And the border came down to the end of the mountain that lieth before the valley of the son of aHinnom, and which is in the valley of the giants on the north, and descended to the valley of bHinnom, to the side of Jebusi on the south, and descended to En-rogel,
  14.   14 And the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the outgoings thereof are in the valley of Jiphthah-el:
  15.   9 ¶ And afterward the children of Judah went down to fight against the Canaanites, that dwelt in the mountain, and in the south, and in the valley.
  16.   33 ¶ Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of Jezreel.
  17.   1 Then Jerubbaal, who is Gideon, and all the people that were with him, rose up early, and pitched beside the well of Harod: so that the host of the Midianites were on the north side of them, by the hill of Moreh, in the valley.
          •  •  •
8 So the people took avictuals in their hand, and their trumpets: and he sent all the rest of Israel every man unto his tent, and retained those three hundred men: and the host of Midian was beneath him in the valley.
          •  •  •
12 And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the east lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the sea side for multitude.
  18.   4 ¶ And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.
  19.   28 And there was no deliverer, because it was far from Zidon, and they had no business with any man; and it was in the valley that lieth by Beth-rehob. And they built a city, and dwelt therein.
  20.   13 And they of Beth-shemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley: and they lifted up their eyes, and saw the ark, and rejoiced to see it.
  21.   5 And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.
  22.   19 Now Saul, and they, and all the men of Israel, were in the valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines.
  23.   9 And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if thou wilt take that, take it: for there is no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that; give it me.
  24.   18 The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
          •  •  •
22 ¶ And the aPhilistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
  25.   13 And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of asalt, being eighteen thousand men.
  26.   13 And three of the thirty chief went down, and came to David in the harvest time unto the cave of Adullam: and the troop of the Philistines pitched in the valley of Rephaim.
  27.   7 He slew of Edom in the valley of asalt ten thousand, and took Selah by war, and called the name of it Joktheel unto this day.
  28.   10 And he defiled aTopheth, which is in the valley of the children of bHinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to cMolech.
  29.   7 And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, then they forsook their cities, and fled: and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
  30.   15 ¶ Now three of the thirty captains went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam; and the host of the Philistines encamped in the valley of Rephaim.
  31.   9 And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
          •  •  •
13 And the aPhilistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley.
  32.   12 Moreover Abishai the son of Zeruiah slew of the Edomites in the valley of salt eighteen thousand.
  33.   10 Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathah at Mareshah.
  34.   26 ¶ And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of aBerachah, unto this day.
  35.   3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the afire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel.
  36.   6 And he caused his children to pass through the afire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he bobserved times, and used enchantments, and used cwitchcraft, and ddealt with a efamiliar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
          •  •  •
14 Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish agate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the bfenced cities of Judah.
  37.   22 Nevertheless aJosiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.
  38.   21 He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.
  39.   5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.
  40.   5 For it is a day of atrouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord God of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.
  41.   21 For the Lord shall rise up as in amount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of bGibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his cstrange act.
  42.   23 How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways;
  43.   31 And they have built the high places of aTophet, which is in the valley of the son of bHinnom, to cburn their sons and their daughters in the dfire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.
  44.   35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the afire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
  45.   15 And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.
  46.   5 And it shall come to pass at that day, that I will abreak the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.
  47.   14 Multitudes, amultitudes in the valley of decision: for the bday of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.
  48.   11 In that day shall there be a great amourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
  49.   6 And it came to pass that when he had traveled three days in the wilderness, he pitched his tent in a avalley by the side of a briver of water.
          •  •  •
14 And it came to pass that my father did speak unto them in the avalley of Lemuel, with bpower, being filled with the Spirit, until their frames did cshake before him. And he did confound them, that they durst not utter against him; wherefore, they did as he commanded them.
  50.   1 And all these things did my father see, and hear, and speak, as he dwelt in a tent, in the avalley of Lemuel, and also a great many more things, which cannot be written upon these plates.

  51.   16 And all these things, of which I have spoken, were done as my father dwelt in a atent, in the valley of Lemuel.
  52.   6 Now, all these things were said and done as my father dwelt in a tent in the avalley which he called Lemuel.
  53.   26 O then, if I have seen so great things, if the Lord in his condescension unto the children of men hath avisited men in so much bmercy, cwhy should my dheart weep and my soul linger in the valley of sorrow, and my flesh waste away, and my strength slacken, because of mine afflictions?
  54.   20 And Alma and his people departed into the wilderness; and when they had traveled all day they pitched their tents in a valley, and they called the valley Alma, because he led their way in the wilderness.
21 Yea, and in the valley of Alma they poured out their athanks to God because he had been merciful unto them, and eased their bburdens, and had delivered them out of bondage; for they were in bondage, and none could deliver them except it were the Lord their God.
          •  •  •
23 And now the Lord said unto Alma: Haste thee and get thou and this people out of this land, for the Lamanites have awakened and do pursue thee; therefore get thee out of this land, and I will stop the Lamanites in this valley that they come no further in pursuit of this people.
  55.   20 And it came to pass that when Alma could pursue the Amlicites no longer he caused that his people should pitch their tents in the avalley of Gideon, the valley being called after that Gideon who was slain by the hand of bNehor with the sword; and in this valley the Nephites did pitch their tents for the night.
  56.   7 And now it came to pass that when Alma had made these regulations he departed from them, yea, from the church which was in the city of Zarahemla, and went over upon the east of the ariver Sidon, into the bvalley of Gideon, there having been a city built, which was called the city of Gideon, which was in the valley that was called Gideon, being called after the man who was cslain by the hand of Nehor with the sword.
8 And Alma went and began to declare the word of God unto the church which was established in the valley of Gideon, according to the revelation of the truth of the word which had been spoken by his fathers, and according to the spirit of prophecy which was in him, according to the atestimony of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who should come to redeem his people from their sins, and the holy order by which he was called. And thus it is written. Amen.
  57.   27 And it came to pass that Moroni caused that his army should be secreted in the valley which was near the bank of the river Sidon, which was on the west of the river Sidon in the wilderness.
          •  •  •
41 And it came to pass that Moroni and his army met the Lamanites in the avalley, on the other side of the river Sidon, and began to fall upon them and to slay them.
          •  •  •
51 Now, the Lamanites were more anumerous, yea, by more than double the number of the Nephites; nevertheless, they were driven insomuch that they were gathered together in one body in the valley, upon the bank by the river Sidon.
  58.   9 And behold, it came to pass that he caused his army to pitch their tents in the valley which was near the mount Antipas.
  59.   16 And behold, Moroni had appointed Lehi to be chief captain over the men of that city; and it was that asame Lehi who fought with the Lamanites in the valley on the east of the river Sidon.
  60.   27 And it came to pass that Coriantumr was exceedingly angry with Shared, and he went against him with his armies to battle; and they did meet in great anger, and they did meet in the valley of Gilgal; and the battle became exceedingly sore.
          •  •  •
30 And Coriantumr gave Shared battle again in the valley of Gilgal, in which he beat Shared and slew him.
  61.   28 And they pitched their tents in the valley of Corihor; and Coriantumr pitched his tents in the valley of Shurr. Now the valley of Shurr was near the hill Comnor; wherefore, Coriantumr did gather his armies together upon the hill Comnor, and did sound a trumpet unto the armies of Shiz to invite them forth to battle.
  62.   5 And it came to pass that I beheld in the valley of Shum, and lo, a great people which dwelt in atents, which were the people of Shum.
  63.
