But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

And this Anti-Christ, whose name was Korihor, (and the law could have no hold upon him) began to preach unto the people that there should be no Christ. And after this manner did he preach, saying:

We believe that no government can exist in peace, except such laws are framed and held
inviolate as will secure to each individual the free exercise of
conscience, the right and control of property, and the protection of
life.
