In synagogues

  1.   23 ¶ And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
  2.   2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
          •  •  •
5 ¶ And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
  3.   35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
  4.   17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
  5.   54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
  6.   6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,

34 ¶ Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
  7.   23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
          •  •  •
39 And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.
  8.   2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
  9.   39 And the chief seats in the synagogues, and the uppermost rooms at feasts:
  10.   9 ¶ But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
  11.   15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
          •  •  •
28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
          •  •  •
33 ¶ And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
          •  •  •
44 And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
  12.   43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
  13.   46 Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts;
  14.   59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
  15.   20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
  16.   20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
  17.   5 And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.
  18.   21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
  19.   17 Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
  20.   4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
          •  •  •
26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.
  21.   19 And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee:
  22.   12 And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
  23.   11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.
  24.   13 And Alma and Amulek went forth preaching repentance to the people in their temples, and in their sanctuaries, and also in their synagogues, which were built after the manner of the Jews.
  25.   4 And it came to pass that Aaron came to the city of Jerusalem, and first began to preach to the Amalekites. And he began to preach to them in their synagogues, for they had built synagogues after the order of the Nehors; for many of the Amalekites and the Amulonites were after the order of the Nehors.
          •  •  •
16 And they went forth whithersoever they were led by the Spirit of the Lord, preaching the word of God in every synagogue of the Amalekites, or in every assembly of the Lamanites where they could be admitted.
  26.   10 Behold I say unto you, do ye suppose that ye cannot worship God save it be in your synagogues only?
  27.   2 Therefore, when ye shall do your alms do not sound a trumpet before you, as will hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.
          •  •  •
5 And when thou prayest thou shalt not do as the hypocrites, for they love to pray, standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.
  28.   1 And now I, Moroni, write a few of the words of my father Mormon, which he spake concerning faith, hope, and charity; for after this manner did he speak unto the people, as he taught them in the synagogue which they had built for the place of worship.
  29.   7 Go unto the eastern lands, bear testimony in every place, unto every people and in their synagogues, reasoning with the people.
  30.   1 My servant, Orson Hyde, was called by his ordination to proclaim the everlasting gospel, by the Spirit of the living God, from people to people, and from land to land, in the congregations of the wicked, in their synagogues, reasoning with and expounding all scriptures unto them.
