23 And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the eastwind, sprung up after them:

27 And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the eastwind shall be seven years of famine.
13 And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an eastwind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the eastwind brought the locusts.

8 And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement eastwind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.
6 And it shall come to pass that I will send forth hail among them, and it shall smite them; and they shall also be smitten with the eastwind; and insects shall pester their land also, and devour their grain.
