Reign in his stead

  1. 33 And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
    34 And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.
    35 And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
    36 And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
    37 And Samlah died, and Saul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
    38 And Saul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
    39 And Baal-hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pau; and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
  2. 1 And it came to pass after this, that the king of the children of aAmmon died, and Hanun his son reigned in his stead.

  21. 18 And Manasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

  24. 1 Now it came to pass after this, that Nahash the king of the children of aAmmon died, and his son reigned in his stead.
  25. 28 And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
  26. 8 And Solomon said unto God, Thou hast shewed great mercy unto David my father, and hast made me to reign in his stead.

  34. 23 So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

  37. 33 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchres of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
  38. 20 ¶ So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
  39. 8 Now the rest of the acts of aJehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and bJehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
