8 It was planted in a good soil by great waters, that it might bring forth branches, and that it might bearfruit, that it might be a goodly vine.

23 In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bearfruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
16 Ephraim is smitten, their root is dried up, they shall bear no fruit: yea, though they bring forth, yet will I slay even the beloved fruit of their womb.
17 And it came to pass that the Lord of the vineyard looked and beheld the tree in the which the wild olive branches had been grafted; and it had sprung forth and begun to bearfruit. And he beheld that it was good; and the fruit thereof was like unto the natural fruit.
