Fear the people

  1.   9 Only rebel not ye against the Lord, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us: fear them not.
  2.   24 ¶ And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
  3.   26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.
  4.   32 But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
  5.   12 And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.
  6.   19 ¶ And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
  7.   2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
  8.   26 Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.
  9.   3 And now the priests of king Noah, being ashamed to return to the city of Nephi, yea, and also fearing that the people would slay them, therefore they durst not return to their wives and their children.
  10.   4 And those judges were angry with him because he spake plainly unto them concerning their secret works of darkness; nevertheless, they durst not lay their own hands upon him, for they feared the people lest they should cry out against them.
