7
¶ And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.
• • •
13
And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall flee.
14
But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.
• • •
20
¶ And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.
• • •
26
¶ And if a man smite the eye of his servant, or the eye of his maid, that it perish; he shall let him go free for his eye’s sake.
• • •
33
¶ And if a man shall open a pit, or if a man shall dig a pit, and not cover it, and an ox or an ass fall therein;
1
If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.
• • •
5
¶ If a man shall cause a
field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall
feed in another man’s field; of the best of his own field, and of the
best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.
• • •
7
¶ If a man shall deliver unto his neighbour money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man’s house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.
• • •
10
If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:
• • •
14
¶ And if a man borrow ought of his neighbour, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.
• • •
16
¶ And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.
12
And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
14
And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
15
And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
• • •
17
And if a man shall take his sister, his father’s daughter, or his mother’s daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a
wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people:
he hath uncovered his sister’s nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
18
And if a man shall lie with a
woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath
discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her
blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
• • •
20
And if a man shall lie with his uncle’s wife, he hath uncovered his uncle’s nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
21
And if a man shall take his brother’s wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother’s nakedness; they shall be childless.
15
Therefore, if a man marry him a
wife in the world, and he marry her not by me nor by my word, and he
covenant with her so long as he is in the world and she with him, their
covenant and marriage are not of force when they are dead, and when they
are out of the world; therefore, they are not bound by any law when
they are out of the world.
• • •
18
And again, verily I say unto you, if a man marry a wife, and make a covenant with her for time and for all eternity, if
that covenant is not by me or by my word, which is my law, and is not
sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise, through him whom I have anointed
and appointed unto this power, then it is not valid neither of force
when they are out of the world, because they are not joined by me, saith
the Lord, neither by my word; when they are out of the world it cannot
be received there, because the angels and the gods are appointed there,
by whom they cannot pass; they cannot, therefore, inherit my glory; for
my house is a house of order, saith the Lord God.
19
And again, verily I say unto you, if a man marry a
wife by my word, which is my law, and by the new and everlasting
covenant, and it is sealed unto them by the Holy Spirit of promise, by
him who is anointed, unto whom I have appointed this power and the keys
of this priesthood; and it shall be said unto them—Ye shall come forth
in the first resurrection; and if it be after
the first resurrection, in the next resurrection; and shall inherit
thrones, kingdoms, principalities, and powers, dominions, all heights
and depths—then shall it be written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, that he
shall commit no murder whereby to shed innocent blood, and if
ye abide in my covenant, and commit no murder whereby to shed innocent
blood, it shall be done unto them in all things whatsoever my servant
hath put upon them, in time, and through all eternity; and shall be of
full force when they are out of the world; and they shall pass by the
angels, and the gods, which are set there, to their exaltation and glory
in all things, as hath been sealed upon their heads, which glory shall
be a fulness and a continuation of the seeds forever and ever.
• • •
26
Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man marry a
wife according to my word, and they are sealed by the Holy Spirit of
promise, according to mine appointment, and he or she shall commit any
sin or transgression of the new and everlasting covenant whatever, and
all manner of blasphemies, and if they commit
no murder wherein they shed innocent blood, yet they shall come forth in
the first resurrection, and enter into their exaltation; but they shall
be destroyed in the flesh, and shall be delivered unto the buffetings
of Satan unto the day of redemption, saith the Lord God.

41
And as ye have asked concerning adultery, verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man receiveth a wife in the new and everlasting covenant, and if she be with another man, and I have not appointed unto her by the holy anointing, she hath committed adultery and shall be destroyed.
• • •
59
Verily, if a man
be called of my Father, as was Aaron, by mine own voice, and by the
voice of him that sent me, and I have endowed him with the keys of the
power of this priesthood, if he do anything in my name, and according to my law and by my word, he will not commit sin, and I will justify him.
